Ooh! Would a third set of wheels be excessive?

I've just got an extra set of the standard wheels - Pirelli Corsas on one set and ZZRs on the other

Is there much difference between the two Neil, performance and price wise?

There's a massive difference between the two. ZZRs are great on track but less comfortable on the road due to the stiff sidewalls. They also seem to last forever (relatively). The Corsas are a far more comfortable road tyre and way better in the wet but will quickly melt on a dry track. So a set of each is ideal.

Kingers tried both 888s and ZZRs on his V6 so would be worth speaking too. I think he'll be sticking with ZZRs from now on but my memory of that conversations a bit hazy

No comparison in wear between the two, 888's and 48R's would not be legal after three track days on FF from new, the ZZR's did five and are barely half worn.

I got the extra wheels when I switched V6's so don't know exactly how much they cost - some Craig man maths was involved!
