get well soon.

Post by pete » Mon May 19, 2014 4:34 pm

Deleted my thread about motorcyclists as it seemd a bit tactless in light of someone we know actually getting hurt...

From Hendeg...

clarkyboy is in Aberdeen Royal Infirmary as a result of his bike accident at the weekend - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-n ... d-27463932.

He said he came round a corner to find a Dutch tourist on the wrong side of the road. 2 broken ankles and a dislocated shoulder are the result.

Take care all (car drivers included).

Saw on FaceyB, that is a scary prospect - was someone else with him hurt or was he upfront?

Anyway regardless of the actual details, just glad he is okay and in one piece. Was it not a dutch tourist that Scotty had a muff diving experience with?

Hope you make a full mend if you read this.

I followed bikers once where one went under a bus as they lost control at the other side of glenshee. I drive a bit like a granny now (relatively) and don't really enjoy driving in groups. If it's only me to hurt then I don't mind pushing bit harder.

Also read this on FB.

Hope you get well soon Clark, not good at all.

On a similar note, an old friend on here, Uldis, came off his skatboard, and has also very badly damaged his ankle as well..

Take care out there guys .. :(
