It depends how high you need to dam. This stuff works well if you can get a good bond to the floor.

Bunch of tarts.

My garage has a smooth concrete floor in a fetching (not 50) shade of grey which is easy to sweep out and not have to worry about spillages such as the petrol today whilst topping up my mower :D
