This is what's putting me off too.

Really like the MV Agusta Brutale too.... 8)
Gareth,

I think M&S in Newcastle are still MV dealers and they are a excellent bunch to deal with (they can also arrange for collection/delivery of servicing - although good excuse to hit the A7/A68/Coldstream come service time).

If you ask for Gary in Sales as he is a really decent chap and we have bought our Ducati's from him so feel free to mention my name. Put it this way - we got offered a £1000 more on a trade of Sandra's DRZ fora new Monster 696+ compared to Ducati Glasgow.

Clarky,

Maybe I am a little bias, but 748's rock,so surprised they are not fetching bigger money by now as they are a modern classic.

Don't thinkI could ever sell mine, even with using it for just 50-100 miles each year now (which is a complete shame for such a great bike).

What year is it? (Know its Pre 2001 by the side fairing).

if it wasn't for an impending new project I wouldn't be selling it but I need to free up the cash,

its a '98 on an R, 14k miles, stripped it last winter and refurbed the wheels, replaced a load of bits, got a new screen, oem levers and some other bits and bobs but it has to go :-(

hopefully I can sell it to someone who will give me the option to buy it back when im ready!

I'm to blame for this rainy weather.
Every time I buy a open top and now a bike...it pisses with rain.
Typical.
