Prices do seem to be on the high side!

I guess if they can travel the world playing to packed out stadiums at those prices, then good luck to them! They were recently in Poland, and performed to a crowd of 52,000 in this stadium;

Just clicked on the pre-public sales link only to get:

"Your approximate time to wait is 24 minutes and you are 2291st in the queue.
Your wait time may adjust depending on those ahead of you in the queue"

At this rate, and even those prices, this is going to sell out fast

Quality, it timed out and gave me a link to the non pre-sales Hydro Site which don't go on sale until Friday. Went back to email and back in the Q roughly where I started 12 minutes ago !

Update: it was easier to get tickets for the Commonwealth Games:
Booted out a 2nd time so now "Your approximate time to wait is 38 minutes and you are 4922nd in the queue. Your wait time may adjust depending on those ahead of you in the queue".

Might end up just getting the DVD

Your approximate time to wait is 43 minutes and you are 5596th in the queue. Your wait time may adjust depending on those ahead of you in the queue. Please be patient and do NOT refresh this page or hit the back button, otherwise you will lose your place in the queue.

After about 5 mins the page stops refreshing, stuck at 4170th in the queue and 32 mins but have been here 10mins now and no change. Guess their servers can't handle the rush.

Edit: looks like it has now crashed

Our store is a little over-crowded at present with customers purchasing tickets.

Please do not press F5 or refresh your browser.

Follow the link back to ticketsoup® and please try and buy your tickets again.

After 70 mins of crashes and lock ups, I finally got through and bought a couple of Platinum tickets for Saturday afternoon. Price wise, I do feel a bit violated but I am sure it will be a great show

That happened countless times with me it eventually just crashes. I just kept going back when it froze and got there in the end.

So not only are the ticket prices a slight rip-off but a booking fee of £5.90 PER ticket plus £2.30 to either post the tickets out or for the privilege of collecting them in person at the Box Office

I didn't bother - guess I'm too miserable

I can think of other things that'll give me and Mrs FS a lot more fun for 198 quid plus booking fee plus postage.

The show is popular hence the prices I guess. Cheapest tickets are £49 though.

Well, that's Christmas all wrapped up for Team Ford.. one Family Ticket on Silver Package now secured. The kids can go without shoes for another couple of months I'm sure!

I logged on around 12.40, was 1200th in the queue with 10 mins to go then max 2 mins later I was offered the ticket selection screen :-). Then I see the caveat "for family tickets please call this extravagantly expensive 0844 number" :-(

15 mins and prob a few pounds later, I'm finally through to a fairly grumpy lady who reluctantly talks me through the remaining options, regularly whining about how busy they have been today. What do they expect FFS, LOL.

Anyway we think the kids are going to love it, if their consumption of vintage TG is anything to go by.

They better. There won't be much else to unwrap on Christmas morning

PS you lot have moaned nearly as much about the live show as you do about the TV prog, LOL

PPS. We are going to the Sunday afternoon show.
