Thing is, like for like, at new R8 V10 money, you'd want a more exotic badge on your keyring such as a horse, bull, or swooshy thing.

She might punch me, but she'd not debate it.

You have a point - for £60k it's a good buy, something a bit different to a base spec 911. I appreciate it's not MP4 or 458 coin, but it's a less appealing prospect north of 100k. I'm sure it would be a more sensible choice than a 2nd hand 430 or 599 .. But the horse has such appeal.

Greg, I thought in your business you loved a bit of bull?

Tonights would have made a good Xmas pantomime show.

Yup, bit content-lite unless you like your Mercs or geeking about inventing new craft in a shed ;-)

Worst episode ever and that was me watching it on fast forward. Did enjoy last weeks though.

Missed the first 20 mins, which is where they may have had some car content.

Jackman came over well though.

I haven't watched it in ages - just missed it for one reason or another - watched it last night and it was cringe worthy. I do hope all the people on the river were stooges. The bits with them messing about with locks and weirs ... just stupid ... I was amazed that the BBC with all its health and safety allowed it. Locks are dangerous places - pretty irresponsible to show them off as a place to mess about.

The car bits - I liked the electric Merc.

Cheers,
Robin

The whole thing is staged, doubt if they have anything to do with the building of the hovervan.

As you say, watchable through spread fingers.

And again Clarkson tweets with a comment about "many people liking last night's show" (so millions hating) but next week being another gem.

Woeful - the hovercraft thing was a 20 minute piece dragged out to fill a show. And the staging was so obvious it killed all the 'jokes'
