Clarkson on Hammond

Post by andy_snap » Tue Sep 26, 2006 12:27 am

Jeremy Clarkson's weekly column in The Sun was all about the aftermath of the Hammond jet car crash. A great piece of writing that is both totally irreverent yet showing respect for the colleague lying in the hoapital bed.
Well worth a read at http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2-2006440317,00.html

And not just because I've taken the Murdoch shilling!

No, their only rivals are half-arsed environmentalists and clueless 'Road safety' campaigners who can't make a distinction between entertainment and instruction.....

5th Gear is in no way a rival to top gear. Watched the new episode last night and it was mince.

Got to say I've been dissapointed by Clarkson lately but that article was very well written.

Yeah - been thinking about this. Hopefully what'll happen is it'll maybe reign in the silly excesses of the show and drag it back to the format with which it started this studio-based thing. In recent seasons, it's gone further and further towards a lads mag with the occasional car in it. Mostly, it works, but they have gone too daft on occasion and risked spoiling the show....

Well here's the video of the hamster.

You can quite clearly see that he was dazed and confused in front of the camera.
