I still feel anger and upset when I think about the red Mini and green V70R being ruined :protest

The red Mini popped straight into my head there too

Actually, reminded me of another Mini I got some parts from a few years ago.
A guy on a Mini forum found a near perfect condition late model (98-2000) multi point injection Mini in a scrap yard, something like 25k miles on it, little rust etc.
After a chat with the scrap yard owner, it turned out to be an old woman who owned from new and traded it in under the government scrappage scheme :(

Fcuking wow - and I'm guessing once it's in the system there's a pile of red tape to cut to retrieve it? If it's at all possible?

Chris - did you see the black Cooper Sport in JC Mini Dryburgh showroom during the last of this year's snow?

I went in for a good nose - lovely wee thing so it was :love

If you want to see a decent roadtest pop over to the Chris Harris channel on pistonheads, if you want a light hearted car related hour that all the family enjoy then Top Gear it is :D I know people winnit on about it being the same old tired format but that arguement could apply to just about every long running programme on tv, Big brother, Grand Designs, etc etc I'm still a Big fan :thumbsup

With Clarkson being a bit of a Lotus fan hopefully the new Exige will be on it.
