Pirelli look to have gone too far with their 'improving the show' tyres. Tyres behaving similar to how they did in last month's tests, and talk of as many as 5 stops

I was watching the driver press conference last night. A question about tyre degradation was posed and Kimi was asked if he'd like to give is opinion. His response was "No. Not really" so they moved on.

We appear to be having some issues as a result of the weather. They could at least put on P3 instead of that awful background music. At least it'll make the event more interesting.

Q2-Q3 postponed until 11:00 tomorrow. Shame for those that went out in Q1, but that's the way it goes.

Changing weather conditions and tyre choices makes it hard to call, but I think that McLaren are totally screwed. They will be lucky to make it through to Q3 I think.

love kimi for his unwillingness to pander to the press, or anyone for that matter.
i have to admit, i prefered the F1 more when it was 3 sprint races, and you saw exactly what the performance of the car was.
we haven't seen a car go full pelt for an entire race for over 3 years now.
more enduance racing - less F1
it's exciting because they have sh*t tyres - no it's not.
it's exciting because we have made over taking artificial etc.. - no it's just that, artificial...
car gets in front, turns down the engine to save fuel, turns down the driver effort to save tyres ...
it's like the gp500 bike racing, nothing until the last two laps, but without the close racing before hand.
we have never seen the potential of any of the cars, or most of the drivers, unless they are out of position and driving from the back with nothing to lose..
it's basically who can go the slowest whilst staying in front, in the old days it was who could go the fastest and humiliate the other manufacturers the most..
makes me glad i'm old as i can remember what racing used to be before they decided to make about green issues.
whay don't they have carbboard cut outs and the drivers run along carrying them, that would be really green ..

best hope no one sticks it into a wall in the Q2/3 cos they wont have enough time to fix it, that would be a bit embarrassing after they banned the teams from bringing three cars....

good point ... worse still, which driver would get the car in each team?

Ferrari - Alonso - Massa would be told to get out and hand it over.
McLaren - Button - because it will be Perez that crashes anyway.
Red Bull - Do I even need to speculate? - if Hungry Heidi takes a bite out of the wall, Mark will be joining the pit crew for the race
Lotus - Kimi probably happy to not bother with the race if he smashes the car, so I reckon whoever crashes loses out.
Mercedes - I cannot see Britney handing over the keys to Hip Hop Hamilton - so again, whoever crashes loses out.
Sauber - Hulkenberg will get the keys - the other chap is only there to pay for the cars anyway.
Force India - Sutil - Di Resta won't want to get glassed
Williams - Pastor has run out of cash, so the other guy.
Torro Rosso - who cares? Maybe they'll swap drivers at the pitstop?
Caterham - they're both qualified so won't happen.
Marussia - ditto, but clearly Matt "The Wallet" Chilton would take the other car but would probably still crash it on the way to the grid
