The rear seats are useless, only any good for carrying one small person a few miles at most.

My two dogs fit in there perfectly though :thumbsup

FFS Ross... I was using my memory of what a 4 seat 911 feels like - it's been a bloody long time since I've been in one... IIRC means If I Recall Correctly - my memory is shot, no great surprise!

FWIW, while I like the Evora, I'm not it's greatest fan, so not prone to "leaping to it's defence" for no reason.

If it's genuinely a lot worse than a 911, then yeah, that's a bit sh*t. Parcel shelves with seatbelts then?

My first time there since they moved lotus to the building at the back, some nice stock :thumbsup

Had a wee seat in the 2+2 Evora in the showroom and was shocked at the pointlessness of the rear seats when drivers seat was set for me. Can the front pax seat be moved far enough forward to allow one rear seat to be used? Looks doubtful...

To me, a nice elise looks a better bet :thumbsup

Oh and Brandon, I was the guy in the grey hoodie mooching around at 1pm-ish who refused your kind offer offer of assistance, but didnt have lots of time to stand and blether :D

Leaving shortly to taxi a car full of 14yr old girls to see One Direction in Glasgow....ching ching all aboard

I have to take the Boag Babes to Glasgow to see "First Erection"

I assume the crowd can only last a couple of hours afloat in a sea of pre pubescent urine :D

Back on thread..............I've had a sh*g in the rear seats of a 911..... and I'm betting that no one has managed the same in an Evora

This is the best quote I've ever read on Scottish Elise's.

The car magazines just don't give you that level of insight.

If the drivers under 6 ft can you squeeze 2 in the back and still drive reasonably safely?
T'was my understanding, and partly my reason for popping by MMC Craig.

I'm under 6ft and now know this isn't the case...

Shug, yep, we are all getting older mister :D

And, yep, it is indeed a bit sh*t that it's much worse, hence the reason of my original post

Iain...I waited with many other cars just east of that new hydro centre thing which is being constructed, and while there were signs of fans appearing around 10.20pm, my excitable lot didn't appear until nearer a quarter to eleven, which ensured a fair level of puggledness by the time I got back to Dundee and dropped little miss bee's friends off

On the way there we managed to fit in both 1D albums which was a complete joy to the ears, especially when accompanied by three tone deaf teenage girls at full pelt...

Kudos for getting a ride in the back of a 911 :thumbsup

Someone must have then bought that car for more than they should!

When G had the first Evora I recall a SE review of it which included myself and another lanky person in the back with two up front AND the doors and windows shut.

Credit where it's due for Lotus, as they are making progress.... I can just about fit in the front of an Evora.
