Has a Porker badge, so he was guaranteed - but his opinion carries some weight. I certainly like the look of it far more than the old one and there's just no doubt it's an awesome drivers car.

Re: New Cayman
Went onto the Porsche Configurator last night to spec my ideal Cayman S.
Looks like my tastes are getting more expensive as it was £5k more than when I specced the old one when toying between Cayman/Evora.

Re: New Cayman
I remeber doing a trackday on the Nurburg GP a few years ago and there was a cayman with a GT3 rs engine and running gear. IT was quick.douglasgdmw wrote:That is where RUF come in:Scotty C wrote:Just a shame they didn't make a gt3 gayman![]()

However suspect it not close to Gt3 prices![]()
They do have a number of other tuning parts to may your car a little bit faster!!

I really like the new Cayman, if it wasn't for the Exige that's the car I would be buying now.

Re: New Cayman
If you have that kind of money to spend on a car your going to use alot the Porsche has always been the better option. As I see it the exige is more of a rich mans toy.

Looks tremedous.
You need to like the hardcore to favour an Exige V6 - been trying to work out which way i would go. My heart says Exige V6, head says Cayman!

The price goes up quick on the configurator. I got up to £68k easily! Jesus. That's £20k worth of options
