Autocar in 'group-testing whatever they can get their hands on' shocker. Soz, not a massive amount of time for them...

Exige V6 v New Cayman v M3

Fair play, that's three cars that all actually exist, all in one issue. Next week will be back to sh*t artists' impressions, wild speculation and de-icer reviews.

Come on now chaps - I posted this as I thought seeing there was lotus content in a new magazine which might've been of interest...

Fair enough if you don't like the magazine, perhaps worried the Cayman will beat all others?

I sometimes wonder why I bother posting anything with any element of seriousness

Sorry old chap - Exige V6 vs Cayman - yep, sure worth a read. M3? Why?

Still, I was having a go at the mag, not you - no need to huff :D

Sorry mate, I meant to type, "Thanks for the heads-up." Damned auto-correct.

Thanks for the heads up. Haven't seen the article but I confidently predict Autocar will prefer the Cayman over the Exige, because much like EVO they always seem to have a strong Porsche leaning. Trying to pick a winner from 3 such excellent but very different cars is pretty pointless really as it is a matter of taste depending on what you will be using it for. Daily driver? I'd take the M3. Weekend hoon-mobile? Exige V6, no question.

Meant to ask, if you subscibe to Autocar does it always arrive on Wednesday, same as the news stands? It can rightly be criticised for lots of bollocks 'exclusive' stories about imagined new models, but I still quite like it and end up buying it most weeks.

No huff, just a little f*cked off at the auto-slagfest when the thread was about a lotus product and not focussed on the magazine running the feature

I shall stick with smutty innuendos and wind-ups from now on, maybe my sig is closer to the truth than first anticipated <BG>
