S1 Cobra Alarm Microwave Sensor Location

Post by Sharpm » Sun Nov 25, 2012 10:41 am

Hi

Looking for a bit of advice on where the microwave sensor should be located as on my car it isn't fixed to anything and just flops about between the seats.

From research I presume it should be fixed to the bulkhead somewhere between the seats but can't find a pic of exactly where

Any pics of the correct location would be much appreciated

Cheers

On my old car I don't think there was much slack on the cable and it was positioned fairly low down near the handbrake tunnel. Given the length of cable you have, is there a lot of choice?

Cheers,
Robin

Popped into the garage to take a pic for you..

To my knowledge this is the standard location. The second pic shows it's just secured by a bit of stiff velcro.

Although the stuff on there is original to my knowledge, I find the heavy duty velcro out of Halfrauds is actually pretty good for jobs like this. :thumbsup
