Jim, are you able to acquire targets in Carnoustie too? If I send you a postcode and address...plain brown wrapper...no questions asked

You're thinking along the same lines as me Campbelly.campbell wrote:Actually, Rossy got me thinking.

People charge to do this, so it could be a wee sideline for Jim, although there may now be too many pies for the fingers he has
Mind you it is Carnoustie, they might be able to get the wheels off, even away up there...

Re: Last house move
I would actually like to point out I was the one sat in the back taking the pictures for a couple of hours in close to freezing conditions, with no heated suite or boots unlike the pilot who was nice and toasty, as he liked to keep telling me. Took me hours to thaw out.haggis catcher wrote:Many thanks Jim for taking the overhead photos of our house. We are both really pleased with them.
Re: Last house move
Used to cycle along that road every evening on the way up to Lundie Craigs. Nice location, good Elise roads.
What's your flying time Jim? You're doing well to do Scone - Coupar Fungus - Dundee - Scone out of what must be a teeny-weeny fuel tank...

Re: Last house move
Perth-Dundee-Perth is just a local bimble.
Fuel tank is 65 litres burning 12/hr so 5hrs per tank @ 100 mph cruise = about 450/500 miles.
Take off from Perth and land in Kent is common. Take off from Kent and down to Gap Tallard in French Alps near Marseille is as common.
Campbell, no probs with Carnoustie. You may want to sit in the back and take them yourself tho since the "usual photographer" seems to get chilly!!

If you have not previously been up Campbell, I can highly recommend a flight with Maverick Jim.renmure wrote:Perth-Dundee-Perth is just a local bimble.![]()
