Post by ed » Mon Sep 11, 2006 11:15 pm

Big thanks goes to Mark R for helping me fit my 2bular tonight! Def owe you a pint or three!! :thumbsup
Its awesome, lively when you boot it but settles down nicely at cruising speeds. Well chuffed with that!! 8)

Now for my next project.....
Anyone got the following tools and fancies a challenge in return for beer!?
It requires the following:
Tools:
Drill with 1/16" and 11/64" or you choose larger bit
Dremmel with cutting wheel and rounding tip
hot glue gun

cheers ed :D

No worries mate! Will settle for a bacon butty next time at KH :D

The 2bular does indeed sound excellent, and crucially for me seems fairly civilised on a steady throttle. Build quality looks superb too, although I was a bit surprised to learn from Ed that Jim V is now farming out some of the manufacturing (Ed's was made by the man himself).

What is else Ed talking about? He is about to commit the cardinal sin in the eyes of the Exige hardcore and do this... http://www.elisetalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=27090

My fault for leading him astray by selling my roof :D :D

Ed, buy an elise for that!!

One wee query tho mate - can you put the 'hardtop' back on? You have to think about security in your part of town

My part of town has ample off street parking! :P and touch wood very safe....so far!

its pretty much the same as the s2 elise, you just need to add two holes for the cross bars at the back! The hardtop goes on and off in around 5 mins, it will be nice to have both options, i do miss the roof off action! 8)

dont think it will have any great effect on performance on track, if it does then i will just put the roof back on. Jamie had his off on sunday so he should have a better idea. This will be for runs etc were performance etc aint that important! 8)
