What punishment did he get for:

Drink driving x3 the limit
No driving license
No insurance
No 'L' plates displayed
Taking without consent
Causing an accident & leaving the scene

???

Closest guess wins
I'm guessing that he'll have pleaded guilty to DD, zero licence, L Plates and insurance. The PF will probably have accepted not-guilty to taking without consent and leaving the scene.

I'll venture extended test, licence with 9 points on when he gets it and a £300 fine due to some sort of early guilty discount and an undertaking to sit the Bernard Matthews Drink-Drive course.

Am i close?

My guess would be an absolute kicking.

Edited to add: There's a Bernard-Matthews drink driving course? The chicken drumsticks guy? Awesome!

I guess 6 points on his license, £150 fine (or maybe community service instead of fine ?)

I note that it was your ex's son , I would have dumped her and her hooligan off-spring pretty sharpish too

Just out of interest - how did you get on with your insurance - did they stump up as a theft or did they get awkward over it?

According to my Road Angel GPS speed detector I was doing 639 mile / hour on Sunday night comming home from work :damnfunny in the Lotus
Even if 1/4 of that were physically possable given the greasy/ices road conditions it so wasn't going to happen ~no idea what the fine would have been
~drove home like Miss Daisy after the back end stepped out making a left turn at a junction

Got pulled for supposedly doing over 100 in a 1.4 golf All be it does have a Gti bumper, hatch and spoiler and twin pipes (They we're Driving at 110 to catch up) ~I suggested it couldnt do that and I was being blinded by the xons from the driver behind ~got told to slow down and be carefull
I've since bough night driving glass's and no longer get blinded

That was only for a few minutes :leave

It was also the luckiest I think we have ever been :D Dont know who all knows this story but for ne real reason we lifted off after doing stupid tuts and met a scam van round the next corner. Also stupid tuts doesnt really express the severity of the tuts.

I once got done for speeding three times in one day (actually less than 2hours appart!) on the same stretch of road and came away with only 3 pts.

Same. No points, no convictions, only been pulled twice. Once for driving my mini too fast in a 30 (when I wasn't, and by the bloody police dogs!? - officer tried to tell me he had to do double the limit to catch up until I pointed out he was travelling in the opposite direction and would have had to drive half the distance away to find a place to turn...)

Did the usual hand brake turns etc in my first car.

I followed him for a ferry once. We must have been going really slowly though seeing as we almost missed it.

Ali once followed me from KH :blackeye

Anything else involving catching a ferry from Le Mans in an Elise with its owner paxing me, numerous antics in a certain bright green R400, occasional red-mistiness in TVR Griff 500/Merc C32AMG/Audi RS6, and not to mention youthful stupidity in a mini or R5 GT Turbo or Integrale are just in my imagination :blackeye

And anything in stationary cars is just bullish*t :damnfunny
