I had the shed hatchback in the third photo behind the safety car. Standard Civic type r with road tyres and zero mods. Was quite entertaining but not fast. It was however totally uncrashable, extemely comfortable on the motorways, pretty frugle and nothing broke.

Eilidh has asked for her Elise to be pink too. I have in mind something metallic, perhaps along lines of the subtle lilac shade that late Nova GTEs were available in

OK so nearer lilac than pink. A very specific taste, all the same!

It was only in jest my friend!
On obscure colours I like the dynorod colour.....odd I know! Would have to be on something exotic though!

No it's quite ok to pull me up on this, on reflection pink was definitely the wrong description...I imagine Julie would rather we were accurate about it too

Fred Mitchell who used to live up the road from Lawrence had a very nice early R400 caterham in dyno-rod pink which he built himself meticulously - looked fooking stunning

Andy's S1 hard top is part of the "race car" spec. It's fitted with some "permanent fasteners" to prevent it flying off mid race (again) so not easy to remove. It was very stylish though, like the rest of the car

A shed in dustbin's clothing ... goes well though

Cheers,
Robin
