Did it at silly oclock on a Sunday night on the M77 coming back from Dom's. Just after engine swap and the gauge was all over the place (musta been earthing issue, has settled down now)

Good ol Dom saved my bacon on that one

i have been getting shadies from the missus ever since i mentioned it to her. She kept saying "your not ruining my car aswell" and i had to politely remind her that its my bloody car and she doesnt pay a penny, she just uses it all the time.

think i will take it on, but prob just do a few laps at a time to avoid breaking another car. i do need this one

It is, now that it's not pissing neat fuel down the bores.....

Managed 305 miles on a tank, commuting, on the last tank (got 36l in, so not even running on vapour). That time it ran out, the odo was reading just over 120 miles since last fill!
