Ron and i have managed to get RR & Trailer for £88 return, but we are now driving through the night to qualify for it!

Was better than the £190 if we left on the Thursday.

Geodie express no use as the trailer is now with Walshy :D

The Ring is only 4 hours drive from Ijmuiden, AND you dont have to drive through France!

Just my 2p's worth!
It's my preferred option when you have plenty of time, a days travelling either end, price wise it's almost identical but you get home a day earlier using the Chunnell. Oh and about twice the mileage.

Thanks for sorting out the Calais room Robin, I think me and Dom are going to try and meet the Walshy attendees at North Weald and set off from there so will book the tunnel crossings tonight :thumbsup

Bit the bullet, never likely to make another so booked the same crossing as Robin out, but a Sunday one back in case I stay on, if not will change it for Saturday. Staying with Robin on Wednesday night for an early take off for N.Weald on Thursday.

Not planning on driving the Ring, but as I have never watched others tracking whilst I have a serviceable car, that could change. On the other hand, the last time I went in November there was a foot of snow.

Anybody that is still thinking about doing Spa on Sunday as well then let me know, only £105 instead of £300, you would just need to do as I have and book a Sunday crossing which is only £10 extra, then change it to Saturday if you change your mind.

Read and I think I have most things covered but do you need to bother adjusting you headlamps? (euro driving virgin  )

Yep, just turn them on when it is dark.

ps whoops, forgot mine is a LHD. But no, don't think anybody bothers. I have spare fluorescent jackets and triangles for two other cars, GB sticker I downloaded a pic and printed it, fcuk paying Halfords. Police in France are too busy stopping farmers burning our lambs or sorting out the pensioner protesters to bother, German Police could not give a toss about European Regulations, they know that they should really be ruling the World, and do the Belgians actually have a police force?

Chunnel booked(I hope).

I am planning on doing the Sunday now as well as we are no longer doing the Ring, might as well, Its a long way to drive for one trackday :D

The prices have changed since Robin booked, now £46 over , but only £42 on the way back. (makes me think I have done something wrong?)

Anyway, really looking forward to it now, I have a long weekend in sunny pitlochry this weekend in the moterhome with the kids, Tenerife for a week from the 30th oct, then this .....good times.

You are booking the same one as me on Sunday as discussed, earlier one is £57 but I have gone for the later one to give us more time.

I'm probably going to stay for the Sunday too. Which train have you booked for coming back?
