I have my own procedure Iain which always amuses the kids, as I always end up with a piece of tattie scone, bacon, and egg for the last mouthful. So that is the way I work my way through it, three on a fork and and look ahead and assimilate the quantities so that I do not end up with a disastrous result.

Verian reckons that I have OCD or am anal retentive, but that is plain silly, it is what anyone would do.

Nothing at all wrong with that tut. I also make sure I've got a small piece of toast left for the bottom of the last mouthful to run round the plate and soak up any left over baked bean sauce/tomato juice etc :D
