i've had my S1 weighed on Lawrences corner weight scales. Came in at 720 with 10L of fuel and all fluids at max. Weighed it at a weigh beidge and it was about 680!!!!! Think all the big trucks had knocked it out a good bit.

Matt, can you double check the figures?
Sorry, didn't spot this... You're just about right, Evo reckons 190bhp/tonne but quote the weight as 720kg. But hey, notice they only give the 135R 4 1/2 stars. Should have stuck with the S1 (5stars  )

But seriously I wouldn't trust that - there's plenty of mistakes. Like they've put the Elise under Sports Cars instead of Super Cars...

dont think any S2's (even the 135R) were that light. my early S1 is 712Kg with mmc's and 18l of fuel etc but i put steel discs on since weighing it.

The 135 engine can be easily tuned by dva to 160-170 bhp.

should be a good car, hopefully see you at knockhill with it shortly(or even better, spa and the ring)

Yeah G - the evo thing is a typo.. It's been discussed somewhere before (either the yahoo list or SELOC) The 135r doesn't have any real weight savings over a boggo S2 - just the better suspension/wheel package and the sweet wee motor (which should be chucking out comfortably more than 135)

Still, it's a great car. :)

The car is perfect.

Baggy, know the last bend out the forest? It's really tight. Well a standing start from there to the next juntion (heading towards Kingswell) I hit 90mph. So much pull. Ooooooooo, so exciting!!**
