Re: SOLD! Honda DC2!!
Are you taking the Fabia to Oulton or planning on having something before then?
Re: SOLD! Honda DC2!!
Not sure yet tbh, may cancel but i am going to look at a CTR tomorrow to tie me over in the mean time which would do the job.BigD wrote:Are you taking the Fabia to Oulton or planning on having something before then?

Re: SOLD! Honda DC2!!

Re: SOLD! Honda DC2!!
The Teg was still needing a Cambelt etc and the biggest thing that put me off was with it being a UK car the rear arches were beginning to rust which was never going to be a cheap fix but one i would want to do if i was keeping itBigD wrote:So you sold a DC2 to buy it's poorer handling younger brother?!Mike Scib wrote:Not sure yet tbh, may cancel but i am going to look at a CTR tomorrow to tie me over in the mean time which would do the job.BigD wrote:Are you taking the Fabia to Oulton or planning on having something before then?![]()
Anyway i ran it for 6 months, 3 or 4 track days, 6k and lost nothing including maintenance etc.
CTR will be newer, NO RUST! plus the plan is to run it until Christmas and hopefully do the same again. But yes you are right but i do plan on fitting a DC5 box for the diff and ratios

Re: SOLD! Honda DC2!!
New car here again, lets see how long this one stays....i have a feeling it could be the one
Anyway, picked up a Civic Type R last week......

Got a few bits planed for it mainly a full service, Carbotech's AX6's all round and some camber arms and bolts and maybe a set of Tein coilovers, so that little lot should allow me to set the geo up slightly more aggressively for Oulton on the 4th of August and the AMP3 day on the Friday

Re: CTR Now....Page 15
That looks in ace condition given it is one of the first ones made on a 51plate!
I still miss mine slightly, albeit they are now priced at a price that undesirables are able to get hold of them! Obviously not you!!

Mike - you need to rename this thread "Mike's cars 2009-2050(ish)" cos you realise you have to keep this thread updated throughout your car life now
