Thanks Barrie, checked the sight and one of the large cups at around £80 would seem to fit the bill. Jen is also checking out a Trophy shop in Aberdeen.

I've only just read this, terrible news.

I first met Brian on a Walshday at Crail, he was in his S1, always a true gent, always perfectly dressed, I met him at the Goodwood Revival last year he was in a pale suit and matching panama, he was probably one of the only people there that didn't look out of place in the period clothes.

Brian was a real gent who knew about, and loved the finer things in life, the world will be a worse place without him.

Would it be an idea for the SIDC crowd on the 27th to all don ties for the event in tribute?

I think Brian would have appreciated the joke and it would be fitting for the first SIDC that he's missed ?

Not sure if you think it's wide of the mark or not? Don't want it to appear as if we're taking the piss or anything. :?
Focus ST estate, i3s and more pushbikes than strictly necessary.

....did i ever tell you about the Evora and VX220 i used to own?

Not at all. IMO, it'd be exactly the sort of thing that would prompt that big smile on Brian, so for that alone, I think it's a great idea. If I was able to attend, I'd be in a tie.

Even I will be dressing up so that is an incentive for the rest of you, but it will certainly not be in Brian's style.

Trousers and shoes would be an event for me, even then I would have to borrow them.

Cheers Rob, good to see that his friends and colleagues thought exactly the same of Brian as we all did.

Nice piece, although unless there's a forum dedicated to a car Brian had way back in the past, I suspect the paper has made a small error when they refer to the Lotus Elite club.

Wasn't aware of his Uddi connections. Tenuous I know, but as it's where I work it makes things seem a little closer to home.

I have had a call reference Brian ordering some curtains and soft furnishings from a member on here, but Linda does not know who it is.

Does this ring a bell with anybody?

(that's why I think Mike will do fine, that and his lack of imagination).

I am not a religious man, but it makes you think. I was just about to post, when Mike put this up, which I think just about answers the question.

I have just been contacted via Ian Forrest at KH by Scottish Enterprise.

"Hi tut

As discussed, i'm wondering if you can help me please.
A member of our staff at Scottish Enterprise, Mr Brian Jamieson, has recently passed away.
I understand he was a racing enthusiast and a member of Knockhill. As a memorial to Brian we are currently naming a meeting room after him and would like to have a photograph of him doing what he loved best.
Would you have a photo of Brian that you could pass on to us?

Many Thanks

I was about to ask if anybody had any good pictures of Brian alongside his car that I could send her. This is not his Exige, but it is a great photo, so I will hold off for a while to see if any more come up, otherwise I would have thought that they would find this ideal.
