Attempted to fit my new heat sheilds yesterday with Matt, slight problem being never fully understood the exhaust will need to come off in order to fit the rivets in the correct positions
So, question to those who know....... If I remove the cat section do I need to order some new gaskets for re-install and will the lambo sensor be ok to remove ?
On a plus side : when we took off the diffuser I noticed my exhaust has been leaking for xxx weeks / months. The exhaust clamp is loose and thus play in the whole section : so need to order a new clamp too!!

Don't remove the 02 Sensor from the cat, The threads can sieze so best leaving it in place if at all possible. Un plug the Sensor from the loom and remove it with the Cat.
Your gaskets will be fine, i would re use them. Bolt it together and if it leaks give me a shout as I have some spares in the Garage.

why didnt i think of removing the senor via the cable connection...DOH!
That will solve the issue taking the sensor and cat away as one unit, and if no need for new gaskets all the better (my luck it will leak !)
Now to get those seized bolts out which i dont think will be an easy task.

To be honest i knew it was lambda sensor but thought id read somweher its lambo for short
not the case then ..OPPSS!
