Air Filter replacement

Is it worth while changing the oe air filter for the likes of a k+n or green filter?

By all means stick a washable element in the standard airbox, but IMO stay away from cone filters and the like for the Yota engine. Have been known to throw MIL lights.

Leave it standard, only one has been found that show any gain whatsoever. Cant remember which one but it's ridiculously expensive.

Performance panel filter is the sensible option, but I do like the sound of the hurricane induction kit!

TRD airbox and filter. Ideal for your car and pretty cheap. MMC, Bell and Colvill etc... :thumbsup
Gives a bit more flow allegedly and more induction noise (S/C wine).

I had one of the ITG panel filters. No idea what benefit it gave other than a nicer tone out the back....

Totally agree. TRD airbox and filter is only about £60 from a dealer - great upgrade and noise. PITA to fit though :)
