Congrats

Looks stunning in that colour, always loved the effort TVR put into the interior with all the machined aluminium.

Let us know when you get it home so we can come up and drool over it.

Think he sold it to his brother in law...........JD has a Tubi'd Ferrari 430 which sounds like "The Second Coming of Christ" when it heads out the Crieff - Comrie road on a Sunday morning

Well, I have been fortunate enough to have sat in the beast, and it is beautiful, sounds gorgeous (especially when you drove off from mine Dave!), and immaculate. 8)

As soon as I sat in it, the smell (by far my strongest memory-triggering sense) took me right back to my Griff, which was a nice thing.

The interior is stunning, the machined switchgear make the interior, and I was quite amazed by the window operation, silly, but fantastic all the same (dial in so many turns to lower the window by how much you want). Peter Wheeler must have still had '60s drugs in his system when designing the 90s TVR models - ace. :thumbsup

Not really something you'd want to take on track - far more enjoyable on the road, and exceptionally quick when it gets into its stride too!!!! :cheers

Very nice! :cheers

Remember the blue 'Y8HOO' car well at KH - Haven't seen it for years!

Fd's mate (Donald?) tracked his grey one a few times too - IIRC he reckoned the standard brakes weren't really up to sustained track abuse...(!)

Have fun! :thumbsup

Ross,Y8HOO was Donald's car, tuned and upgraded by Dreadnought. Spent many trackdays at KH with him, not much in it with N1, but no probs with N3.

Sat in one recently and couldn't believe the interior.

Enjoy it, I am sure you will.

Oops - My memory must be going...I am knocking on a bit now!

Those days were 8-9 years ago, now...

...I haven't even driven anything around KH since late 2004...I hear the 'new' track is at least 1.5 - 2 secs a lap quicker than the old one with the proper kerbs...

Sorry Ross, got the name wrong. YAHOO was Jason's car, not Donald's.

Iain, not seen Jason since he had his TVR, what model Ferrari did he buy?

Ah so, never knew Jason's surname.

Presume that a Tubi is an after market exhaust as opposed to a T/C?
