Dan, are the earlier ones the white, Nylatron type square ones?

Nylatron is black, if they are white they will just be white nylon, nylatron should be better as it is a bearing plastic with oils n' stuff (technical term) for lubrication.

Rich as dan said just the front undertray to remove. Just peel back the wheel arch liner to gain access to the bolt head for slackening. Easy enough job and doesn't take long just make sure the ARB and bush are clean before re-assembling.

Yup tut, early ones are white Nylon, the late S1 ones changed to these totally different ones (dont use the wishbone bolt).

What year did they change Ali? Mine will need doing soon and I wasn't aware there was a difference. Mine is Sept 98.

Check your VIN number Tom, new ones were from W 3039.

Brakes fitted, arb being looked at tomorrow... from inside the house as it will be lashing down with rain...
