Gary. Thanks for that. I'm always looking for nuts and bolts! :)

I'll keep your details for my next job - Unfortunately, I needed to get the shocks done on Saturday (so I could play today) and B&C sent them overnight - so whilst I paid an extortionate price, I got the job done nice and fast. Future work will be planned more carefully!

The job itself was easy apart from the fact that the guy who built my car had put the front drivers side lower bolt in the wrong way round so it was impossible to remove without removing the ARB droplink! 10 mins with the dremel cutting disc fixed that. I fancy making up some rose-jointed droplinks - I got some on my MX-5 and helps with adjustable ARBs - anyone else done that?

OK some people might find this useful. Here's a complete list of the bolts you need to do both front and back suspension. I have included the dampener bracket bolts as well as steering arm and ball joint carrier bolts, number in brackets is the item number in the Lotus parts manual for reference.

Front Suspension. Code 31.01

8 x Screw, M10 x 30 hex hd, grade 8.8 ball joint carrier to hub 03)
2 x Bolt, M10 x 65, cap hd, steering arm to hub carrier (15)
2 x Bolt, M10 x 45, cap hd, steering arm to hub carrier (16)
2 x Bolt, M10 x 55, hex hd, Dampener bottom fix (21)
2 x Bolt, M10 x 70, hex hd, Dampener top fix (22)
4 x Bolt, M8 x 25, hex hd Dampener bracket to chassis (28)
4 x Washer, Flat M8 x 16.6, Dampener bracket to chassis (29)
4 x Nut, Nyloc M8, Dampener bracket to chassis (30)
2 x Pivot Bolt, M10 x 80, hex hd, Wishbone upper front (33)
2 x Pivot Bolt, M10 x 75, hex hd, Wishbone upper rear (39)
2 x Pivot Bolt, M10 x 85, hex hd, Wishbone lower rear (46)
2 x Pivot Bolt, M10 x 130, hex hd, Wishbone lower front (33) (used with nylon A/R blocks)
26 x Washer, flat, M10 x 20.5 x 1.8 (22, 24, 34, 41, 47, 48)
8 x Nut, Nyloc, M10 (26, 35, 40)

Rear Suspension Code 31.03

8 x Screw, M10 x 30, hex hd, grade 8.8 ball joint carrier to hub lower (03)
4 x Bolt, M10 x 50, cap hd, ball joint carrier to hub upper (16)
4 x Pivot bolt, M10 x 55, hex hd, upper wishbone F & R (17)
4 x Bolt, M10 x 55, hex hd, dampener fixing T & B (20)
2 x Pivot bolt M10 x 70, hex hd, lower wishbone/toe link fix (NR if uprated toe links fitted) (36)
2 x Pivot bolt M10 x 65, hex hd, lower wishbone front (37)
4 x Bolt, M10 x 30, hex hd, Dampener bracket to chassis (40)
4 x Flange nut, M10, upper wishbone fix (45)
22 x Washer, flat, M10 x 20.5 x 1.8
8 x Nut, Nyloc, M10

If uprated toe links are fitted the following is required,

2 x Bolt. M10 x 100, cap head, toe link eye and lower rear wishbone through bolt. (uprated toe links in place of 36)
2 x Bolt, M10 x 110, cap head, outer toe link eye to hub carrier.
4 x Bolt, M10 x 50, cap head, toe link adapter to ball joint carrier.
4 x Nut, Nyloc, M10
12 x Washer, flat, M10 x 20.5 x 1.8

For the rear suspension, if you have up rated toe links then you don't require item (36) as this bolt is a cap head and is considerably longer. Will edit the list once I get the length. you will also need a longer bolt for holding the new bracket to the under side of the hub carrier. Again, will add this later.

edited to add in the uprated toe link info.

Well none Mike, my list is very similar but just covers wishbones and shocks. If Gary can put that lot together then I will order a kit.

Full Suspension. Code 31.01 - £5.00

Rear Suspension Code 31.03 - £4.50

I don't have any M10 x 65mm Cap Heads (for the Full kit) that are plated but I'll get some in the next couple of days. I've got them without any coating if you're in a rush.

Gary.

That's excellent Gary, I will obviously have a full kit for the N3 team when they refit the suspension and shocks.

Cheers
