I used the same format of img link as you but linked to a photo sitting at
http://mysite.wanadoo-members.co.uk/bmw ... cooter.jpg

I think the reason your links didn't work that they were linked to seloc where you have to be registered. My image above is located at on a site available to view to anybody.
