Brands Elise Trophy

Post by tut » Sat Jul 18, 2009 1:41 pm

Don't know what happened to Walshy, he was fastest in Practice yesterday by 3 secs, but did not appear in qualifying or todays race.

Qualy grid was:-

Stanley

Speller

Williams

Knight

Did not realise that James Knight was that useful, he is up there with the top three.

Race positions:-

Stanley

Speller

Williams

Jewel

Kershaw

Knight

Jamie Stanley seems to be in a class of his own, at least with Walshy not present.

Paul just posted some very sad news on LOT. In the F2 race before theirs, Henry Surtees, son of John, was killed when his car went into the barrier.

(that's why I think Mike will do fine, that and his lack of imagination).

Does focus the mind on how dangerous a sport it can be even if in this case it was under unique and unlucky circumstances
