he wants a daytona 675, cause it has fairings and is more comfortable at 40mph than a naked bike.

if he gets the daytona, it will be the slowest one has ever been ridden! :P

I might offer VXjon a ridiculously low amount of money for his bike. Isnt that how these things generally work??

Do like the daytona a lot, I spent 8 months staring at one when I worked in the airport and still didnt get bored of it.

You will easily pass the DAS course :thumbsup

No rush Neil, ive decided I dont like the ST and will be choping it for a faired bike. Mostly due to the wind blast above 50mph which is slightly better with the flyscreen kit fitted but still not as comfortable as the daytona.

Happily admit that I would be painfully slow on a daytona/sportsbike but TBH Im painfully slow on the ST anyway.

Why not sell the ST, get the money you want, stick about 2 grand away to save for an elise, and buy an older cbr600f or so,

might let you have a shot on my sv, has fairings and isn't too likely to kill you, and is brilliant fun in the twisties, and i bought mine 2 and a bit years ago for £2.6k with 4000miles on the clock.

I'd try out more faired bikes before biting the bullet for the daytona, cause its what 7k new? when get an older (still fast and fun) 600 with fairings, and you won't feel it lacking from the 675 as your not going to be pushing it to its limits.

/jon mode on

yeah but CBRs aren't cool and neither are SVs. Daytonas are cool, I don't care whether or not it's actually the right bike for me and I'm not going to listen to experienced bikers when they offer me advice etc. etc. etc.
