Sold up and went Japanese
Re: Sold up and went Japanese
i like the idea of an evo, 4WD would suit my ability (i.e lack off) better i think, some of the EVOs have better 0-60 than an exigeS too (my prefered choice) .... but my wife wouldnt let me get an Evo, says they look ugly
.... thats not my opinion btw, i think they look mean

BigD thanks for the great info about the car and the advice. I will not be pushing it too hard for a good bit of time yet as it is so different to the VX (oh and the fact I lack the talent to keep it on the road
). I think I will be going to extreme for my next service which is due in about 2 months.
I am very impressed at the power you are getting out the engine, it must be a very fast car. What clutch do you have in at the moment? Mines has an exedy hyper clutch which is taking a fair bit of getting used too.
I dont think I will be doing many mods in the future, with the exception of a set of mud flaps
Right I am off to see that clip posted up of you going around the track.

Yeh I have the Exedy hyper twin plate and it does take a bit of getting used to but it is excellent. Not so good in slow traffic but great at everything else.wil_scotland wrote:BigD thanks for the great info about the car and the advice. Evo 9's can get over 400bhp with very few mods. Decat and air filter or airbox mod and a mild remap. Perfect every day car.
That clip was someone with a bit more skill than me.
