Quick Update.
Re furbished the Rear Calipers, not that easy a job may i add. Siezed bolts etc ...
Stripped them down and DEOX C the bare caliper. Anyone wanting to refurb anything steel should try some of that stuff. Great results and you can do it in your own garage. Few coats of paint and then fitted with new seals and slides.
That allowed me to finally to get the rear of the car finished. Fitted new EBC discs with Pagid's with new handbrake cables and brake pipes. I made my brake pipes from Copper/nickel as first but it looked sh*t and really never liked the stuff. So ordered Steel pipes cut to correct length. Once they are on I can bleed the brakes and more importantly the Clutch.
Got round to tidying up the rear wiring, this is an area where i think a lot of DIY Installs go wrong. Spent some time getting correct route and to make sure no wires touched anything (or will in 6 months time). All wires crimped with correct terminals and no joins.
Had a few people say how clean the car looks. Truth is that it was in a real bad way, hence going this far. Here's a couple of pics to show you what i mean.
Before

After
Already getting my interior re trimmed but that will take at least a month. Still trying to find a painter who does a good job at a reasonable rate, looks like it will be Burnt Orange. If your reading this TUT would still like to see N1 Tut to for the paint, if you don't mind. Anytime your passing Balmedie you can pop round.
Me and the Wife (Jen) have decided just to put the car on the road this year. So maybe see a few of you around Aberdeen, Falkirk and of Course Knock Hill
Cheers
