Car looked excellent really liked it :thumbsup Loved the cabin top stuff!
Two reservations were the ever so slightly plasticy handle on the inside of the door and the pedal offset

Also took Graeme around the block in the white beast - in his words 'the fastest f***ing Lotus I have been in' I think that's a very good endorsement
Maybe should put it on the bottom of the ad

Felt and looked to me like a big(er) Exige..production car fit and finish will have to be better though.

Take care,

Definitely better in the flesh :thumbsup
Think the orange might be a bit loud for my taste but apparently it's the only one that colour in Scotland.

Although the gf thought the back seats were too small and she's only 5'3. Can't have everything.
She wants to know how long 4 6ft blokes could stay in there before losing the ability to walk

Time to start saving the pocket money.

I really liked it . . . saw it briefly in the flesh at the factory back in November but was great to see inside it and all round. Think it'll be very colour sensitve. Would like to see it in black 8)

The rear seats are a waste of time unless they are solely intended for kids. Even Heather was struggling to fit. I was obviously never going to fit  and I think the only person who could sit upright was Morvern. As for Mr.Gizmo . . . well . . .

Nice car.

It was bigger than I expected but the rear seats are only large enough for my terriers.

I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.

Not sure :scratch

Looks like the front and rear were designed by two different people.

So who of SE's finest put down a deposit for one or was it just a successful marketing exercise for MMC - to get more people in the door looking at the Elise's/Exige's with their impressive finance deals?

I know of one SEr who has his name down, will let them spill the beans though if they so desire. Went passed Murrays on the train this morning and its gone which is a shame. :( Hopefully Graeme will have a demo for us to oggle over. :)

I know an SE member! Spec: Burnt Orange, Charcoal Leather, Stealth Wheels, fully loaded, number 5 off the production line and number 1 in Scotland. Look for the person attending in the list from Sunday with a smiley face beside them....

I think it was a bit of both, great marketing exercise showing brand loyalty and an opportunity for SE to get together somewhere other than Wannaburger / KH.

GR was v hospitable lots coffee & chocolate biccies and car chat flowed for hours.

Hopefully it might mean some more new cars on SE for some and other keep their cars they were thinking of punting.
