I really liked it - did think she was going to lead the project into trouble. 1st floor extension was a shame.
So what did it cost? - I think 1mill purchase plus 750000 for the build and restoration plus another 125000 on bling that the kids going to :puke all over :blackeye so 1.9 mill?

Indeed - but someone tell me why is it that in every episode the sight of big Kev, makes them go shag like rabbits and become preggers at the most unsuitable of times! I mean honestly.......

I think Kevin McCloud is bang all the wifes whilst the guys are out building the house - how else can you explain why so many of them become preganant during filming!

I usually want to punch the telly when they bang on about eco and sustainability but the £1800 per year the house generates by producing heat and electricity is my kind of eco.

Bloody detest those open plan style bathrooms though, the whole house and neighbouring villages don't want to see you on the cludgie.

WTF is 'eco-concrete'? :tard

...and am I the only one wondering how toddler-friendly those floors and steps will be?

KE think is how long it would take to get back that 1800 from the extra they spent on friendly materials etc. Did they not say they had spend 20k on the windows alone?

£43k on windoes, £80k on the roof....

Did anyone esle think if they built the arch out of brick with cement and a wooden former it would look almost the same without the chance of falling in on their heads? It would have cost cock all too.

Random: No, f**k off.

Take 2

Smug eco warrior housebuilder: Would you like to do some voluntary work building me an ethnocentric, carbon neutral, peace house?

Random sandal wearer: Will there be lentils?

Smug eco warrior housebuilder: All you can eat

Random sandal wearer: Great, I'll bring a dozen others who don't wash either
