my scooby was expensive to run too
a my99 uk turbo
decatted with Prodrive performance package.

pads and discs lasted well.
average 23 mpg on spirited driving.
300 odd per service.
set of tyres per year.
expensive for 18k miles per year.
great fun. ultimately not as fun as the elise, but easier to get in and drive.
thing is, i ended up doing silly speeds and was gonna hurt myself/someone else if it went wrong - so decided to have fun at 50
still love them tho!

You aint seen a road block yet mate, one day I will bring my S6 Avant back to knockers. It managed a reasonable 67 sec lap. Not bad for a 2ton lump with a dog guard.

Of what mate....My Audi?
Not much to look at, it does have the nice wheels, and is in a lovely dark blue, but 29k miles - alot of car for 14k Not even broken in!
