I picked Rs42 as they are fast road /track, whereas rs14s are track apparently.
I noticed they were blue in the box but didnt think anything of it till they were on. The difference in bite is noticable , so much so I wouldnt want to downgrade to cheaper pads.
I think I will take Robins advice and use a thin coat of black paint .
Why are some of you gay blades laughing as though I am gonna paint my calipers illuminous green ? I am painting the back of the PADS black so they dont stand out .
Pehaps you dont know the difference between pad and caliper?
Anyway thats the plan.

Most on here don't put much onus on appearances of components, a blue pad on an orange car would not be noticed by many.
I have a silver car (With grimy bits) and green pads, I just don't care... (Plus the break dust obscures them)
But I have alot of other mods that do interest the group that you can't see. Mosty on a "lets see what crazy scheme he is up to now" sort of a way, no different to you really, but they can appreciate the reasons and are supportive. For example the epic ported head saga, where I ported the head myself over a few months with no real idea what I was doing and bolted it on.
In short go faster bits are ok, cosmetic mods are fair game!
Its your car, do what you like, but don't expect everyone to approve...

Well we all buy cars for different reasons as previously said, I too am keen on engine mods etc but also love the cars appearance. My car is always clean and maybe this is the problem , I will always notice this blue area at the rear of car and it will bug me.
Some may think Its sad, But believe me there are a few sad cnut on here alright! . Each to there own, forums attract many different types.
