Knockers 27th March & 13th April
Fantastic time last night, what have they done to KH, where did all the grip come from? I couldn't believe how hard I could brake and not lock up (too much) never known a wet track session like it. Some work to do to get my braking point right for the new Duffus. I kept braking too early then having to come off the brakes before the turn in point. Should be amazing when dry. I wasn't happy with the cones to start with, but after a few laps I hardly noticed them, maybe a problem if there were alot of cars on track.
The driving standards were pretty good, however the Cosworth and Evo could have kept on the black stuff a little more often.
Great night.

From what i read and Sasha said they weren't as severe as the HM cones and they only got in my when when i spun and smacked into one
Other than that from a relative newbie they were fine.

Guy came up and said how the hell did you manage that?
Well I did that by doing 450 degree spin into the gravel trap![]()

Good fun the cones were not as bad as I thought they might but would like to not see them again
My shoes and trousers however are not!!
Shes gonna be a beast, cant wait til the s/c,
hopefully ill be there for the 13th!
They cones that day were a nightmare, pushed you off the racing line totally and as Si said, had you concentrating more on them than the track.simon wrote:So were the cones like the HM earlier in the year? For those who weren't at that, the cones cam half way across the track at the corners to prevent people trying to outbrake others. All they did for me was distract me and I ended up watching them instead of braking points.
Its good that they might have pushed them in a bit but still very dissappointed in KH for keeping them

damn it. couldnt work out how to get pictures straight on the forum without making them the size of an elephant..

well last night was my first track day in around 8 months to 1 year and I must say I loved it. It's only when you get back behind the wheel on track that you realise how much you miss it.
I liked the new track but not too keen on the cones, don't mind them so much going into the corners but hate the on the exit, spend most of my time watching them rather than the road ahead.
Can't wait till the next one, providing I can escape work early again, who knows maybe I will take my S1 on track and leave Mac to enjoy the S2. Seems I hogged the car most of the night
poor Mac.
Thanks to Brunty for organising the event, it was FAB.
