Yes, it's much quicker than my car with virtually no compression...
Having no luck mate? That surprises me - I would genuinely say that it's the very best S1 I know of anywhere. Hope you get enough to buy your cateringvan racer <ooops - how did I guess that!>

Nice vid Shug.. I don't feel to bad with my slow-coach 1.17.. given second just wasn't happening, I only had 0.6 bar ~ 190 on tap at EF on the Sunday.. but hey - our lines weren't too different either (not saying much given size of circuit..) - tho I was still tippy-toing through Pates and Hannahs.
look fwd to exchaging some pax and following you round next time.
I'm still down about 70 horses (bit of a mystery at the mo

) but at least I now have some decent bft per/tonne to play with... hopefully I wont let you get away from me too quickly..
All these Tyre R engines do make for some glorious tunes - new engine should be a belter
Best
Jon

thx - wasn't watching there
Graining/blurred footage very deliberate for a nice 70's technicolour sort of effect.. and lets me cobble together footage from about half a dozen laps.
First time in car (anywhere), only got on for an hour as I didn't get out until 1 due to running extrenely late.. and it had been first outing for me since previous May..still a bit of rust in there to work out b4 S'stone in August..
Most laps involved me not making second or short shifting into third with total power drop off + lots of swearing. Not much power neither.
Gearchange hopefully now sorted.

No prbs m8

- now boost leaks taken care of and running 1.2 bar (not 0.6) then it will be interesting to see how she goes with 310bhp/300lbft next time as opposed to about only 190/150 max... she should be doing 350-380 but she'll still give us both a scare..

Unsurprisingly - she's a bit heavier than your lot - tho still ample power for her 970-1000kgs approx. Trick for me is to carry enough pace through the turns to make best use of the straightline.. she has racing brakes.
OT - I'm slowly taking her up to 400-450bhp GT2 spec
This car tho isn't a works car but actually one of the oldest surviving privateer Esprits in the UK.. tho some of the spec comes from Geroge Howard-Chappal @ Lotus GT1 in the 90s. Race primarily in the 750MC RS series for last 10 yrs on and off.
