Question for the IT gurus:
Is Norton AV just crap?
I have spent the entire night trying to get rid of a trojan, which I knew was there but Norton wouldn't find. It also refused to run in safe mode
Downloaded the fee AVG package and hey presto it found and fixed half a dozen

first time.
Looks like my Norton subscription ain't gettin renewed then. Or else I need to stop looking at naked ladies

i think the main reason for it is that these viruses are all programmed to avoid Norton (think it's because its the main anit-virus that most people have).
AVG all the way

Bertie giving advice is one thing following it is completely another - anyway I am his chief reviewer and quality controller - sometimes even get to meet the models or go to check out the pole dancing only for photographic content that is

Also how do you know that site has porn on it Hee hee

I'm another AVG user, never had any issues on the 3 PCs in my house, my girlfriends mums 2 have always been fine, as has her brothers.
Also run BOTH of these:
Adaware by lavasoft
Spybot Search and Destroy
One tends to pick up what the other missed.
Norton is a nightmare. I've had 3 people come to me asking why their internet has stopped working. Turned out Norton Internet Security had decided that the internet was unsafe and blocked it. I suppose it is, but i'm not sure that blocking the whole thing is what customers are looking for
