This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in
http://mhor.net/hotel/ . Amazing food, great rooms with stylish contemporary decor, in a beautiful hideaway location at the end of Loch Voil but not too far from Glasgow or Edinburgh. Highly recommended!

Did you know that.............?
The previous owner of Monachle Mhor (Tom's Mother) is completely blind and she was the Hotel Chef!
It was surreal to see her working with Hot Stoves/Pans/Ingredients and producing fab food.

That looks fantastic!
£327 for a luxury room for Dinner, bed and breaky, then you have wine on top of that - I foresee a £500 bill for the one night... sounds very like my Gleneagles experience, albeit that place looks very special!

If it's real luxury you're after, then Brian J's suggestion of
http://www.knockinaamlodge.com/
is very hard to beat.
I like the Three Chimneys but I don't think it's as good as Knockinaam lodge.
