in what gear changes is it possible to stay on the second cam ?
i know i can stay on it from 3rd to 4th , not sure bout 2nd to 3rd and i cant seem to do it 1st to 2nd .....are the later 2 even possible ?

Yep, you can stay on cam in every gear apart from 5th to 6th if I recall. You just have to take it to 8.5k in first and be pretty quick changing gear. A pain in the arse and the reason I bought a motorsport ECU. I found that trying to keep a healthy pace in the Exige had made my driving far from smooth, having to constantly monitor revs and gear selection, but the upgraded ECU allows you to concentrate on the road and just makes it more drivable.
Previously, I would exit some 2nd gear corners and could make a phone call before the 2nd cam kicked in but now it just pulls from about 5k. Also, since there is no dip followed by power surge, you can get the power on earlier without unsettling the car.
The car now feels more like my old 111s but with more top end
Still doesn't stop me wanting a supercharger, but I can't afford one
