Greg,

It's a rough ride matey. I think you have a Monday Morning car :-(

How many miles have you been able to put on it?

Campbell, I've put 20k on it in the 2 years I've had it, so when the engine popped it had circa 47k on it. Might sound daft but I'm not all that disheartened, and there are only a few items in there that I wouldn't have changed had they not gone pop in the first place e.g. the bottom end and radiator :)

I have to say, that the majority of the repairs have been made 100 times easier given the help of the S_E massive, either by ferrying me to & from garages, lending cars, fixing cars and lending parts :)

Sounds like you have been having a rough time of it. Sympathy. :(

And I was going to ask for another loan of your cat once I get all the other things sorted. :?

Just as well you didn't lend it to me again once engine fixed, as then the CAT would have gone on me, at which point i wouldn't have been able to continue living I don't think, would have died of shame and embarrassment!
