I was shouting and swearing at the telly. I can understand why the team decided to leave him out for an extra couple of lpas, but in hindsight it was a stupid decision.
Still, he is in the best position for the last race, and as long as he remembers he is doing it for the championship and not a one off race he should still win it. DC slowed at the later stages but did well to get a point.

What did happen to DC? I watched right up to 1st pit stop and he was 5 seconds clear in 5th... went to make the kids fried egg on toast, and when I got back to the telly he was down in 12th... he seemed to have the pace to stay best of the rest.
As for Hamilton, that wasn't unfortunate... it was a stupid gamble by his team. The championship was wrapped up.. all he needed was a good finish and it was his... 2nd would have done nicely, but obviously the team weren't particularly keen on handing the race to Kimi. Looks like they had fried egg on toast also, as I'm sure I could see it all over their faces.
For the 1st time this season... I actually felt quite sorry for Lewis.
Andy.

I have no signature.
Lewis also took some responsibility for dropping it on the way into the Pitlane. I wouldn't lay any blame on him, the team certainly did seem to put the car into an undriveable condition.
Big guy, to be fair.
Of course, conspiracy theorists will say it was all just in the name of a 3-way shoot-out to keep interest up into the last race of the season

I'm a Hamilton fan and hope I'm wrong but I think Kimi will win the championship.
I truly believe that Alonso dislikes Hamilton so much he'd prefer Kimi to win and I wouldn't put it past the Spaniard to create a Senna/Prost-esque 'collision'....
I had visions of Adelaide '86 yesterday morning (yes I was 3 years old at the time but you know what I mean)
With regard to Ferrari not having the best car, I'd disagree with that statement for the majority of tracks - ie Monza, Spa, Shanghai, Fuji if it'd been dry, Silverstone, Magny Cours etc all suit the Ferrari.
I hear Rosberg may be bought out of his contract to go to McLaren should Alonso go. Interesting, as I rate Rosberg.
