It was a fantastic day out, despite an unplanned hangover from yesterday evening, i remembered my camera, and set off to meet ScottyF on another of his stupidly early meets. Left the Disco and headed up in Scotty's Exige which was sounding amazing, and yes i think your packing is 'light' shall we say as the drone from the Stage2 was doing my hangover no favours at Dual Carriageway speeds, but was amazing as i remember it from Ed's car, as it burbelled(sp!) and popped on the over run constantly!
Anyway, picked up Lotus Lee in his Scooby and headed into the depths of Perthshire for stage2, which was near Aberfeldy.
I have to say the first British Rally i have been to, and it was great, the atmosphere was pretty special, and some great cars. I really wanted to take pictures all day, rattled off a few hundred, and lacking energy gave up!
However, that being said, i am really impressed by quite a few of them (puts down his trumpet!) and has to put a lot of it down to being able to play around with settings, as suggested by Stewart and others, and put some thought into where i was, the lighting(sh*t by the way!) etc. There are of course lots of mince shots too!
Anyway ended the day with a short run through Kenmore, and over some single track road to Amulree which was butt clenchingly good, stopped in at Perth to meet significant other halfs for a spot of afternoon tea, then atched the cars come home. David ???(forgotten his name already!) came home in the Toyota Corolla in 1st place, closely followed by Neal Dougan in 2nd
Scott dropped me back off at Tescos Kingsway where we bumped into none other than Derek and Karen out for a run! (Just to get some milk honest!)
All in all, a brilliant day, I have to say though, wasn't expecting the high chav attendance, bottles of bucky and wasted wee jaickies everywhere!!!

Fab day, Good to get out for a run in the car again and the rallying action and company was top notch.
Glen Quaich road (pass of the sheep) is fantastic now its been resurfaced.

Unfortunately rest of my photos are gash as the camera (and operator) werent up to the job.
I guarantee 2 pixel Lee's shots will be a darn site better than mine!
