Chris

That was the next night. This is Pat Pong road, Bangkok, 1973, Viet Nam had finished so the Yanks had gone, the Germans had not discovered it, we went out there on leave from Oman, so had it pretty much to ourselves.

Can you imagine that, the bars were still full of the girls, but they had no customers. They were literally fighting over us, and after the first night we were not even paying for it, they were just happy to have the company and a few drinks and a noodle soup.

However I do not have photos of that, but went to a sex show, and the star act was this young girl with a body to die for that was shooting out ping pong balls. I paid the club a couple of quid to take her back to my Hotel, but obviously treated her unlike she was used to, room service, dinner and drinks, but boy was it worth it.

I was in 'Nam' in 94 when I worked on the boats. At the end of our second visit we new we were heading home so threw all our Dong (oo er misses) out the back window of the bus taking us back to the docks, to all the poor and crippled that had followed us around all day .A full scale riot ensued unknown to us as we thought we were being nice. Anyway the next day we had the police on the boat trying to lift us. And once in Thailand I went to see a donkey show but thats another story!
