feckers are to busy catching people with the wrong spacing on there reg plates to worry about this.

Would not have bothered with the cops, "I would have just send the boys round"
Just noticed this, why hasn't an investigation been launched I reported this to the police on sat as soon as I read it !

All the work has been done for them ffs!

I had my mobile pick pocketed from a pub in London back in 99. Tracked down who stole it etc. Gave police a "dossier" and told them name address and proof. Feck all.
No chance I was going in to that housing estate to get it back.
All the happened is that I managed to get a letter from the owner of DX Communications stating that he will refund my phone insurance and that he will change the contracts so that they will pay out "regardless of whether you put up resistence to the theft".

Someone has been over my Elise :(

Up the front, across the roof, and off the back. Dirty foot printed were on the bodywork, the front has a pretty wide scratch mark where they obviously slipped and the 2 rods in the roof were folder down. Luckily nothing on the softtop broke!

I had people over the top of my girlfriend and my Mini in the past too, never caught the barstewards though :( and thankfully they only run over it and didn't jump around.

If they were caught, my biggest fear is what the police would do to me

1998 S Reg Mini. 1.3 multi point injection. For those not Mini-familiar, these were the last and had a few 'modern' additions. Airbag, side impact protection bars, intermediate wipe, 2 speed heater pus a few nice touches inside. Its a bit less like driving a tin can!
Not a Cooper but spec is identical except for the contrasting roof and bonnet stripes!
Tan half leather with sort of Burberry-esque cloth in the middle.
Pretty much standard except for adjusta ride height adjustable cones on the front so it sits nice and level, play mini stainless steel rear exhaust section.

Cosmetic rust under the headlights and on the A panels but nothing awful, and I think it's done approx 60k miles. I'm the second owner, and it has a decent service history (stamps every 6000-8000 miles until recently when I stared doing more myself)

Not a clue what I want for it yet, and i'm awaiting a couple of interior parts to get it back to normal as I had full dark blue leather in it inc the top and bottom of the dashboard, which looks kinda odd now...

This is it a few years back, no driving lamps now, and the wheels are a bit different... you get the idea.

I love the original Mini. I almost bought a Cooper 1275S in the 60's, but the first wife insisted on a sensible car, so we had a Beetle.

Now I have a wife who pushed me to buy a second Hondaded Elise....
