No mate Martyn King is the top guy at Stratstone - supposedly cant get any higher up than him..

He did all that work because Gavin had sold me the car and it wasnt in a condition i was happy with - didnt even bat an eyelid even though it was thousands.... But if you want something arranged try calling the body shop - guys are always helpful when i have called them..

Yea re-reading it I did come over a bit harsh  but after my own experiences with MMC (JMG Perth to be precise, same thing tho) I thought I sniffed a tiny compliment to MMC and saw red :D

Just a quicky to complete the thread..

The exige went off on a covered transporter to MMC last thursday and arrived back today on it as planned. All the warranty work completed, car looking washed, waxed and shiney plus lots of petrol in the tank. So a big :thumbsup to MMC from me.

What are they charging for the ECU upgrade these days?
As they haven't phoned back I don't know! - and I don't have time to have it done just now anyway.

That would be so handy for me to be able to have someone else closer do the warranty work, and some of the guys from up north too. I wouldn't mind heading to Glasgow for warranty work but to go to Edinburgh is a joke. In fact had I known that when I was looking (they closed it just after I bought the Elise), I wouldn't have bought the car at all.

Even if I could take it to a Toyota dealer for an engine service it'd be a start.
