FF6 - when are we leaving?

Post by Scotty C » Mon Jul 30, 2007 9:37 am

When we leaving?

Our crossing is booked for Tuesday afternoon (I think), just wondering what the plan is. Does anyone have one?

7.8.2007 10:40 Dover - Boulogne

Are you on a different ferry?

I'd need to be there around 0930.
Hence leave on Mon and overnight close to the port...

Yes, we're all on the 10:40 on the way out, as Ali says.

Kelvin and I have some fannying around to do en route so were planning on meeting you guys at the ferry port on Tuesday morning?

Cheers,
Robin

It's no time at all from anywhere south of the QE bridge to Dover so you can take your pick if you don't fancy Dover itself. Plenty of nice places around ...

The QE bridge itself is closed at present I think and so that whole Dartford crossing is a nightmare - don't rely on crossing it and making the ferry unless you want to leave really early on Tuesday morning.

See you all on Tuesday!

Cheers,
Robin

Have you been dumped

Nothing planned as yet.

Not had a good e-mail from Lawrence about the amount of work he still has to do before leaving :( . Fingers crossed he will still make it.

Scotty

I will be meeting up with you at Portlethen or similar.

Reckon we need to book up a Travel Lodge for Monday night in striking distance of Dover for the Aberdeen crew.

Nah, just reckon my chances of getting from Bristol to Dover on the morning itself aren't the best :D

Good luck Lawrence, fingers crossed!
