Hoping to drive home again from KH on Saturday, but it is always fingers crossed.

you better tut, or what chance will you have on the FF6. 3 trackdays and 5000 miles in twice the heat of KH

I will always drive as quickly around the track as I can, or I would not enjoy it, but I have changed the method.
Now I am cutting down the number of continuous fast laps in similar company, then cruising around for a couple of laps, and joining in again with another group. Also staying out for shorter sessions, and maybe going out as a pax for a change. Life is also easier on the car with the S/C, just gears 3, 4, and 5, and slower gearchanges.
No one would call me a pessimist, but for a trip like FF6, three whole day trackdays, followed by a week in the Alps and all the driving there and back, it would be a miracle if the car did manage the whole trip without a non fixable breakdown.
However I live in hope and stranger things have happened.

Here's hoping it makes it - is it worth ordering a spare SC pulley belt from Ariel?tut wrote: No one would call me a pessimist, but for a trip like FF6, three whole day trackdays, followed by a week in the Alps and all the driving there and back, it would be a miracle if the car did manage the whole trip without a non fixable breakdown.
